Entertaining taylor made film for Bobby
Bobby Breen was about 12 years old when this film was made in 1939. Bobby does a good job, but the screen play was mediocre. It is his singing that stands out the most. His career started to fade once he left the Eddie Cantor radio show and he became a teenager.

Good film but.....
The uploader did not notice (or care to take notice) but the boy is a menonite not amish-similar but different. When you consider that William Penn (first governor of PA.) invited them to come to America and that Amish were not invited by Penn you may understand. Both share ideas but Amish is a way of life while Menonites is a religion sect similar to Quakers.
Otherwise, a very good film and support for the character Bobby Breen.
